Soigneur Cycling Journal (Issue 20)
What they say: Soigneur was born in the Netherlands in 2012, when we set out to create an independent platform celebrating cycling culture. Since 2012 we have paid homage to the breadth of the sport, all over the world, both in writing and with photographs. Soigneur brings together some of the finest stories, reportages, and photo-essays from around the world, online and in print reaching over 1 million people monthly. You’ll find tales of the past and of the present, of pros and of amateurs, of local heroes and of faraway places. Tales of suffering and of bliss.
For the love of cycling.
What we say: We were down for the count for a week and half with some flu-type yuckiness, and issue 20 arrived just in time to help pass the time on the couch and in bed. In fact it was so good, we read it twice through! As always the folks at Soigneur have put together a collection of articles and photos that pierce into what cycling is all about, travelling around the world from the mountains of Italy, to the political intracies of Turkey, to the Tour of Rwanda. Chapeau once again, Soigneur!
While Soigneur has been around since 2012, it isn't until recently that they've started publishing in English, and we couldn't be more appreciative. This visual feast is sure to please, no matter what language you speak.
