We love bikes. Period. It's that simple.
Speed and Sprocket Cycle works is a mobile bike shop that has serviced the Connecticut River Valley since 2013 and that, unlike traditional stores, brings the store right to you! In addition to performing repairs and tune-ups, Speed and Sprocket also offers bike and accessory sales, as well as bike maintenance instruction. With over thirty years of experience working on bikes of all types, they have the know-how to service your entire family’s bikes. Instead of having to find the time to get all your bikes to the shop, drop them off, and then return a week (or more) later, simply book an appointment time that’s convenient for you to have Speed and Sprocket perform the work at your house.
In addition to the service and sales work they offer, Speed and Sprocket has become heavily involved in the local community. They have sponsored local cycling clubs (the Northampton Cycling Club and the UMass racing team), cycling advocacy groups (MassBike, the New England Mountain Biking Association, and Adventure Cycling), support local charity rides (Will Bike 4 Food, Katelynn’s Ride, the River Valley Ice Cream Ride, D2R2, and others), have organized and produced fundraising events of their own (Bike to Brookfield Farm, the 3 Peaks Adventure Challenge, and others), and is a business member of 1% for the Planet.

Charity and Advocacy
We firmly believe in the inspirational and transformative powers of bicycles. If you have a cause or event that you need help with, please contact us so we can figure out how to partner together. Looking to set up a fundraiser for your school or non-profit organization? We can help you with that, too!
In addition to committing our services to numerous charity rides, as a member of the 1% for the Planet network, we pledge to donate at least 1% of sales to nonprofits dedicated towards preserving our planet. |
