2018 Events

May 13th - Join us in celebrating Mother's Day and women everywhere for the sixth year in a row with the 2018 CycloFemme ride, taking place all over the world. For more information on our Pioneer Valley event, check out the Facebook event page

June 2nd - Speed & Sprocket Cycle Works is overjoyed to be providing mechanical support at the start of our favorite ride of the year, the eighth annual Pedal 2 Pints ride! This year's event will include four different routes and all proceeds go to MassBike and other cycling charities.

June 24th - Greenfield's Stone Soup Cafe has launched their Food Justice Ride this year to support their mission to "fight hunger by making nutritious food available at an affordable cost to anyone who needs it," and we're happily helping them plan this inaugural year. In addition, we'll be at the event providing mechanical support for riders who need day-of help!
July 28th - Our friends over at River's Edge Cycling have organized what could possibly be the best thing to happen to summer since the Beach Boys: the River Valley Ice Cream Ride! They were kind enough to ask us to come along to offer mechanical support for the three route options they have churning for you. Family (and tummy) friendly, we are definitely looking forward to this one. |

September 22nd - Speed and Sprocket will be providing mechanical support before and during the Northampton Cycling Club BikeFest ! This is the biggest cycling event in the valley, and we are very excited to be joining it again this year! There are rides of all lengths for various abilities, and plenty of fun and festivities for families as well. There have even been documented sightings of penny farthings here!

September 30th - Speed and Sprocket will be continuing to provide pre-event adjustments and on route support for this year's Will Bike 4 Food charity ride. This ride benefits The Food Bank of Western Mass and features four different route choices!
October 6-8th - There was a new tour in town last year, and we're stoked to be involved with supporting it once again this year! It's titled the Death Ride Tour Fall Blaze and its mission is to raise funds for the battle against ALS. The tour will cover roughly 223 miles over 3 days with over 15,800' of climbing! |
